People ask me sometimes, "Since these opinions you describe are all so varied,
and even contradictory, what do you REALLY think?" The only way I can respond to
such interest is to show some of the things I have thought and how they have
evolved over time. These thoughts, at least in the form of this log, have
dwindled during the period when I have had to express them more formally in
publishable work. However, I am going to keep adding to the current period
when I think the addition is significant.
